| SlotLine offers a variety of custom machined aluminum wheels for
1/32 and 1/24 slot cars. These wheels are not only functional but
look great too! SlotLine's originally offered a 1/32 wheel design
called "Countach" which designed specifically
for Slot.it (tm) tires. SlotLine no longer offers the Countach
wheel; however, they have recently introduced a new wheel design called
the "Alfa". Unlike most Slot.it (tm) wheels, Slotline
wheels employ a "hubless" design. This is particularly appealing
when setting up a sidewinder configuration - the hubless design gives
you the flexibility to run a wider tire (if desired) without
interference from the body or exceeding maximum width restrictions
common in many club racing classes. The 1/32 Alfa wheels are very
lightweight and available in 2 sizes (front and rear). For more

SlotLine Alfa Design High-Performance 1/32 Wheels
The Alfa Wheels fit all Slot.it (tm) tires.
The Alfa rear wheel has a little marker to indicate where to find the grub screw.
If you race 1/32 sidewinders, this is the perfect wheel because the wheel center is offset 2mm down the rim to fit the mounting nut on the spur gear (see diagram below). Of course, SlotLine Alfa wheels also work great with any inline slotcar!
The Alfa rear wheels are 10mm (0.39") wide, and also 10mm wide total. The Alfa front wheels are a little bit smaller than the rear wheels - only 8.2mm (0.32") wide on the outer diameter and 9mm (0.35") wide total. |
