Over the past 2+ years, I have used Super LubeŽ for all of my slot cars lubrication needs.  The more I use these products, the more impressed I am with them - so much so that I am now an authorized Super LubeŽ dealer.  Slot Car Corner currently offers two (2) Super LubeŽ products which offer excellent lubrication for a wide range of slot car related applications:
  1. Super LubeŽ Synthetic Oil with PTFE (motor shafts, axles, bushings, bearings, controller trigger bushings, etc.)
  2. Super LubeŽ Synthetic Grease with PTFE (crown gears, guide posts)

Please note these products are plastic compatible - an important consideration when selecting lubricants for slot cars with plastic chassis and parts.
 
 
Why Super LubeŽ?
 

Petroleum-based machine and gear oils are made from refined crude oil and contain impurities which cannot be removed. These impurities interfere with film strength and wear protection. They also form deposits at high temperatures and solidify at low temperatures. Petroleum-based greases are formulated by adding lithium, calcium, or sodium thickeners to petroleum-based oil.

 

In contrast, Super LubeŽ Grease and Oils are exceptionally pure lubricants because they are synthetic. This gives Super LubeŽ very stable and predictable chemical properties.  As a result, Super LubeŽ lasts longer and outperforms conventional petroleum-based greases and oils.
 
 
What is SYNCOLONŽ?
 
Super LubeŽ Grease and Super LubeŽ Oil with SYNCOLONŽ (PTFE) contain Polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE) which is the most slippery surface (lowest coefficient of friction) known to man. The SYNCOLONŽ (PTFE) particles in Super LubeŽ fill surface irregularities of mating parts and are compacted like snowflakes in a snowball to form a smooth, lubricated surface.

SYNCOLONŽ (PTFE) provides improved anti-wear properties, is waterproof, not washed away by acids or alkalis, and resists temperatures to 750°F. The SYNCOLONŽ (PTFE) particles in Super LubeŽ's unique patented formula are held in constant suspension ensuring they will always be evenly applied to the lubricated surface.
