| Note: Stock (plastic) wheel trueness for the Aston Martin DB9,
Ferrari 360 and Ferrari 550 varies greatly. When test fitting
tires, the outer shoulder
(outer 1/3) of the Aston Martin wheels was visibly larger than the inner
shoulder. Sanding the outer shoulder with a 100 grit 3M sanding
pad cured this problem. The middle rib of the Ferrari 360 and 550
required slight sanding for a perfectly flat contact patch. Note
these wheel inconsistencies affect the contact patch of the stock SCX
tires as well. |

you plan to do with the extra sets of tires you purchase - how long
before they too become "orphans"? And how about when you remove a
pair of Super Tires from a car and replace them with a different size -
what do you do with the tires you removed? Fortunately, there is a
better way to organize your Super Tires - use our Tire Tubes instead!!
Tire Tubes are made from rugged plastic and include an easy-open cap which keeps your unused tires securely inside
the tube until they are needed. Each Tire Tube will hold up to six

| Labels for Tire Tubes |
| |
 Tire
Tubes will keep your Super Tires (R) or Yellow Dog Super Tires (R) safe and secure; however, you'll need
some way to identify exactly which tires are being stored in a given
Tire Tube. There are a couple of ways to do this. The
low-tech way is to take a Sharpie marker and simply write on the outer
surface of the Tire Tube. Here's an even better way - use your
printer to print preformatted labels. Each label identifies the
Super Tires (R) or Yellow Dog Super Tires (R) part number, outer tire diameter and typical applications
(i.e. cars the Super Tires fit).Note:
Tires and Tire Tube shown for illustration purposes - these items must
be purchased separately.
To print preformatted labels using your printer, follow the steps
listed below.

for more information.
- Purchase a package of Avery 5160 (laser), 8160 (inkjet), or
equivalent white address labels. These are readily available at
office supply stores and "big box" stores such as Walmart and
Target. The labels are 1" x 2-5/8" and come 30 labels to a
sheet.
- Download the Super Tires labels you are interested in to your PC
using the links below. To download, right-click (once) on the
desired link and select "Save Target As" from the window that
appears. Save the file on your PC's hard drive - be sure to
note where you have saved it.
- Open the label file you downloaded in the step above.
- Go into "Page Setup" in the "File" menu and make sure printer page scaling is
turned off. Page scaling options vary from printer-to-printer;
however, when present you will see them in the "Page Setup" window.
- Do NOT load labels into your printer just yet. First print
a test page of labels on a plain piece of printer paper.
- The package the labels came in should include an alignment
template. Place the test page you just printed on top of the
alignment template and hold both pages up to a bright light.
Make sure the label printing fits within the lines representing the
labels on the alignment template. If the printing is
out-of-alignment, return to the "Page Setup" window and double check
page scaling has been disabled/turned off.
- Once the labels printed on the test page are aligned with the
template, you can load one or more sheets of blank labels into your
printer and print as many labels as you need.
- Carefully peel off the printed labels and affix to your Tire
Tubes. That's all there is to it!!

Tubes will keep your Super Tires (R) or Yellow Dog Super Tires (R) safe and secure; however, you'll need
some way to identify exactly which tires are being stored in a given
Tire Tube. There are a couple of ways to do this. The
low-tech way is to take a Sharpie marker and simply write on the outer
surface of the Tire Tube. Here's an even better way - use your
printer to print preformatted labels. Each label identifies the
Super Tires (R) or Yellow Dog Super Tires (R) part number, outer tire diameter and typical applications
(i.e. cars the Super Tires fit).
