| Note: Stock (plastic) wheel trueness for the Aston Martin DB9,
Ferrari 360 and Ferrari 550 varies greatly. When test fitting
tires, the outer shoulder
(outer 1/3) of the Aston Martin wheels was visibly larger than the inner
shoulder. Sanding the outer shoulder with a 100 grit 3M sanding
pad cured this problem. The middle rib of the Ferrari 360 and 550
required slight sanding for a perfectly flat contact patch. Note
these wheel inconsistencies affect the contact patch of the stock SCX
tires as well. |

| For several years, serious racers and enthusiasts have discovered
the performance edge provided by the original silicone Super Tires.
Like all silicone tires, the original Super Tires perform best on clean
racing surfaces. However, racing surfaces and upkeep of those
surfaces do vary - as such, some are more prone to accumulate "dirt and
dust" than others. In addition, some club rules forbid the use of
silicone tires for some/all classes. "Yellow Dog" Super Tires were
developed in response to these requirements. Yellow Dog Super
Tires can now be special ordered using the online ordering below.
