The kit includes a 5" length of PVC tubing, PVC end cap, high-quality arcade button
(red) with Cherry (tm) switch and 12 feet of 22 gauge 2 conductor wire
(not shown). You will need to provide a short length of 1/2" wide
duct tape (or similar). Step-by-step assembly
instructions can be found
here. Designed for use with any race
management software which supports track calls. The track call
button fits comfortably in your hand making it easy to use. Easy

management software which supports track calls. The track call
button fits comfortably in your hand making it easy to use. Easy

comes with 10' of wire to allow the race director or track marshal
freedom to move around if desired. If desired, you can paint the

| Track Call Buttons - Panel Mount |

| These are arcade quality track call buttons perfect for panel mounting applications.
Mounting hole diameter is 1 1/8". The mounting stem is long enough
to mount on surfaces up to 3/4" thick. Includes top-of-the-line
"Cherry" brand switch and retaining nut. Colors available include
red, white, blue, black and yellow. Note:
Because of the large hole required, it is often difficult to include a
track call button on the controller hookup panel. However, the
track call button can often be mounted immediately adjacent to the
controller hookup panel in the wood surface panel
is mounted to. |

| 12 Volt Relays |
| |
| If you plan to incorporate a race management system into your
layout, most include software which will control track power at the
beginning and end of a race along with track calls. The software
typically works in conjunction with a 12 volt relay to turn
track power on/off. Using this arrangement, the track power supply
remains powered on. The relay is typically wired between the power
supply and the driver's stations. When power to the track needs to be turned
off, the race management system will cause the relay to "open" which
effectively cuts power to the track. To turn power to the track
back on, the race management system will cause the relay to "close" |

| Both relays offered below are designed for heavy duty use. These
high quality Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) relays are very reliable; however, it is a good idea to have a spare on hand just
in case (particularly if you host race events). Use 1/4" female
push-on terminals to make your wiring connections. |

| Tip: Mount a spare relay right next to the primary
relay. If you should ever have a problem with the primary relay,
you can quickly and easily remove the wiring from the primary relay and
re-attach it to the spare. Do not solder the female push-on
terminals to the relay "blades" so they can be removed if necessary. |
