We're a bit delinquent posting this announcement - the improved SCC Bronze Bushings have actually been shipping for about 3 months. Based on customer feedback, SCC has incorporated some design changes to our popular bronze racing bushings. There are two (2) changes in particular which improve on the original offerings:

1. The bushings are now machined from a bearing grade bronze. While more difficult to machine than the previous alloy, the new alloy offers better wear resistance and has a slightly lower coefficient of friction.

2. The bushing's outer race dimension has been decreased slightly - the result is less stress on plastic chassis bushings carriers which in turn means fewer cracks/failures.
