Most tools used by slot car racers were originally designed for other purposes and adapted (out of necessity) to the task at hand. In contrast, Slot Car Corner's tools were designed specifically with the needs of 1/32 slot car racers in mind. These high-quality tools will bring a smile to your face each time you use them. SCC tools offer the following features and benefits:

  • Affordably priced - Our tools cost less than many of our competitor's without sacrificing quality or features.
  • Six (6) different tools are available individually or in a variety of sets. Available tools include:
    • 2.0mm flat screwdriver
    • 3.0mm phillips screwdriver
    • 2.0mm phillips screwdriver
    • .050" hex driver (for 4-40 set screws used to secure 1/32 wheels from manufacturers such as BWA, NSR, etc.)
    • .035" (.9mm) hex driver (for M2 set screws used to secure 1/32 wheels from manufacturers such as Super Wheels, CB Design, Slot.it, etc.)
    • 4.0mm nut driver (for nuts included with SCC motor pod hardware kits)
  • Lightweight hollow handles  are made from anodized aluminum for strength and durability.
  • Comfortable knurled non-slip handles fit comfortably in the palm of your hand and provide exceptional "feel" and feedback.
  • Matching design elements are shared by all SCC tools. For example, all tools feature handles which are 14mm in diameter with 45mm long tool tips. These dimensions allow the tools to fit easily into slot boxes and carry cases where space is at a premium.
  • Aluminum end caps rotate in the palm of your hand for added comfort and control. Many of our competitors charge extra for the caps (or don't offer them at all)
  • Specially treated steel, made to our exacting specifications, is used for all tips. The result is long life and excellent torsion. Replacement tips, should they be required, are readily available at reasonable prices.
  • Step-down Tip - the .035" (.9mm) hex driver features a specially designed shaft with an intermediate step-down just prior to the hex tip. For racers who glue tires to wheels, this feature minimizes the size of the hole required in the tire to access the hidden set screw which secures the wheel to the axle.
  • Special "flat spots" where the tip is inserted into the tool allow for easy tip replacement (by removing a retaining set screw) while ensuring the tip stays securely positioned within the handle during use.
